Hornswaggler | The culture, the humor, a bit of the sports, not so much the politics, and the workplace distraction

Hornswaggle is an alternate spelling of hornswoggle, an archaic word that means to bamboozle or hoodwink. I take my pronunciation from the late Harvey Korman in "Blazing Saddles" --

"I want rustlers, cutthroats, murderers, bounty hunters, desperados, mugs, pugs, thugs, nitwits, halfwits, dimwits, vipers, snipers, conmen, Indian agents, Mexican bandits, muggers, buggerers, bushwhackers, hornswagglers, horse thieves, bull dykes, train robbers, bank robbers, ass kickers, shit kickers and Methodists!"

Britney Spears is front and center on the cover of Rolling Stone's current "Women in Rock" issue. Another nail in the coffin for Rolling Stone. I think I'm going to write something about this.

Check out this bit of tid on the stimulation of Jennifer Lopez's nipples. That's a fine how do ya do.

In celebration of the Eagles' tasty 20-10 defeat of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, whom the Eagles now own like some desktop tchotchke, we will once again plunge headlong into the mystical kingdom that reflects the Eagles' fortunes. But first, whilst yet in reality, let me give credit where credit is due to CB Al Harris, whom I have harangued on numerous occasions, who made three big plays in the game, two of which involved him turning around and looking for the ball while covering Keyshawn Johnson. Unbelievable. Clearly an Eagles official passed along word of my displeasure to Mr. Harris and he responded.

Next: The tale of the escape of Count Wrinklybottoms.
