Hornswaggler | The culture, the humor, a bit of the sports, not so much the politics, and the workplace distraction

Hornswaggle is an alternate spelling of hornswoggle, an archaic word that means to bamboozle or hoodwink. I take my pronunciation from the late Harvey Korman in "Blazing Saddles" --

"I want rustlers, cutthroats, murderers, bounty hunters, desperados, mugs, pugs, thugs, nitwits, halfwits, dimwits, vipers, snipers, conmen, Indian agents, Mexican bandits, muggers, buggerers, bushwhackers, hornswagglers, horse thieves, bull dykes, train robbers, bank robbers, ass kickers, shit kickers and Methodists!"

Evil Kenneth

"Parks and Recreation" has gone from underrated to overrated in a hurry. I've even seen a couple critics suggest it's the best comedy on TV, when it's still not the best comedy on NBC on Thursday. I saw most of the episodes last season and the show never consistently reached the heights it attained in the "Sister City" episode.

Anyway, above is one of my favorite moments from last season's "30 Rock," still the king of Thursday night, in which Kenneth, feeling unappreciated, briefly turns evil, even channeling the Emperor for a moment.
