Hornswaggler | The culture, the humor, a bit of the sports, not so much the politics, and the workplace distraction

Hornswaggle is an alternate spelling of hornswoggle, an archaic word that means to bamboozle or hoodwink. I take my pronunciation from the late Harvey Korman in "Blazing Saddles" --

"I want rustlers, cutthroats, murderers, bounty hunters, desperados, mugs, pugs, thugs, nitwits, halfwits, dimwits, vipers, snipers, conmen, Indian agents, Mexican bandits, muggers, buggerers, bushwhackers, hornswagglers, horse thieves, bull dykes, train robbers, bank robbers, ass kickers, shit kickers and Methodists!"

Dubya said today that "...it is time to reaffirm the principles and rules that make capitalism work. In the long run, there is no capitalism without conscience; there is no wealth without character." Pootie Poot, you must be speaking in ideal terms, because capitalism is each individual trying to maximize his or her profit. There's no morality built into it.

In other news, how is this guy featured on blogger's homepage when he updates his site and I'm not? Seeing as he's a right wing jarhead (go see for yourself), maybe I should start some shit with him. I wouldn't want to be uncivil though. No one could ever accuse me of being uncivil. Because then I'd yell at and physically assault them. Evidently I'm not very good with the, whaddya call that there, Paul?, the uh, oh yeah, the self-promotion.
Je ne sais what?
Je ne sais huh?
