Hornswaggler | The culture, the humor, a bit of the sports, not so much the politics, and the workplace distraction

Hornswaggle is an alternate spelling of hornswoggle, an archaic word that means to bamboozle or hoodwink. I take my pronunciation from the late Harvey Korman in "Blazing Saddles" --

"I want rustlers, cutthroats, murderers, bounty hunters, desperados, mugs, pugs, thugs, nitwits, halfwits, dimwits, vipers, snipers, conmen, Indian agents, Mexican bandits, muggers, buggerers, bushwhackers, hornswagglers, horse thieves, bull dykes, train robbers, bank robbers, ass kickers, shit kickers and Methodists!"

Shout out to my pops

My father's artwork (pictured above) is featured in the current (March/April) issue of Orion magazine.

The images and text are not available online (just this teaser), so you'll have to venture out to your local Borders or magazine shop (if one exists in your area) to buy a copy, if you're interested.

You can also visit his Web site. Feel free to contact him if you want to buy any of his work, which these days consists primarily of paintings made with watercolor, acrylic medium and natural materials, usually earth and mud.
